Products Description
Hanging-type Automatic Painting Line for Bicycle Frames
The hanging-type automatic painting line for bicycle frames is an advanced production equipment specifically designed to meet the painting needs of bicycle frames. It aims to provide high-quality and efficient painting solutions for bicycle frames, ensuring that each frame can have an aesthetically pleasing and durable paint finish. The following is a detailed introduction:
Process Flow
Pretreatment Stage
Degreasing Process: During the production of bicycle frames, their surfaces may be contaminated with processing grease, fingerprints, and other oil stains. Using professional degreasers can effectively remove these contaminants. This step is crucial because the presence of oil stains can significantly impede the proper adhesion of paint to the frame surface, potentially leading to issues such as paint blistering and peeling in the subsequent stages.
Cleaning Step: After degreasing, high-pressure water guns are used to spray a powerful stream of water, or ultrasonic cleaning technology is employed to thoroughly remove any residual degreaser, dust, and other impurities from the frame surface. This cleaning process ensures that the frame surface is in a clean state, creating better conditions for paint adhesion and significantly enhancing the adhesion and uniformity of the paint finish.
Surface Conditioning: For bicycle frames made of metal, surface conditioning treatment is carried out to further enhance the adhesion of the paint. For example, chemical conversion treatment is used to form a microscopic conversion film on the metal surface of the frame, altering its surface properties and enabling the paint to bond better with the frame, thereby extending the lifespan of the paint finish.
Painting Stage
Hanging and Conveying: Bicycle frames are carefully hung on the conveyor system that runs through the painting line. This hanging method allows all parts of the frame, including tubes, joints, and bends, to be fully exposed in the painting area, facilitating comprehensive and seamless painting operations. The conveyor system operates stably, ensuring that the frames pass through each painting station at an appropriate speed.
Primer Spraying: An automated up-and-down reciprocating spray gun system is used to evenly apply the prepared primer to the surface of the bicycle frame. As the foundation of the entire paint system, the primer not only gives the frame an initial color but also fills in minor surface imperfections, making the frame surface smoother. This provides a solid base for the subsequent application of the topcoat and enhances the stability and durability of the overall paint finish.
Topcoat Spraying: Once the primer has dried to a certain extent, the topcoat spraying begins. The automatic up-and-down reciprocating topcoat spray gun can precisely control the paint output, spray pattern, and spraying pressure. The topcoat not only offers a wide range of color options to meet the aesthetic needs of different consumers but also possesses excellent weather resistance, wear resistance, and other properties. It can effectively withstand scratches, UV radiation, and other factors during daily use, maintaining the long-term beauty of the frame.
Drying and Curing Stage
Conveyor-based Drying: After painting, the bicycle frames are transported by the conveyor system into the drying chamber. Inside the drying chamber, hot air circulation is used to accelerate the evaporation of the solvents in the paint, achieving the initial drying of the paint finish. The temperature, air velocity in the drying chamber, and the residence time of the frames in the chamber are all precisely adjusted according to the characteristics of the paint used, ensuring uniform drying of the paint and avoiding paint defects caused by either too rapid or too slow drying.
Curing Treatment: For some special types of paint, such as two-component paints or powder coatings, a curing operation is required to completely harden the paint film. Depending on the paint formulation, methods such as high-temperature baking, infrared irradiation, or ultraviolet irradiation can be used. After the curing process, the adhesion, hardness, chemical resistance, and other properties of the paint finish are significantly improved, providing better protection for the bicycle frame and extending its service life.
Equipment Features
Customized Hanging Conveyor System: This conveyor system is specially designed according to the unique shape and weight of bicycle frames. It is equipped with flexible and adjustable hooks and stable fixing devices. During the painting process, it can firmly hold the frames, preventing them from shaking or falling and ensuring the accuracy and stability of the painting operation. At the same time, the conveying speed can be steplessly adjusted according to production requirements, closely coordinating with each painting process to ensure the efficient and smooth operation of the entire painting process.
High-precision Spray Guns and Automated Control: The spray guns equipped in the painting line have extremely high precision and can precisely adjust the paint output, spray pattern, and spraying pressure. Through an advanced automated control system, operators can preset various working parameters of the spray guns according to the size, shape, and painting process requirements of different frames. During the painting process, the system automatically controls the operation of the spray guns, achieving precise painting, effectively reducing paint waste, and improving painting quality and production efficiency.
Environmental and Safety Design: Fully considering environmental protection and safety production requirements, the painting line is installed with efficient ventilation equipment. These devices can promptly exhaust volatile organic compounds (VOCs) generated during the painting process, reducing the concentration of harmful gases in the workshop and safeguarding the health of operators. At the same time, it is equipped with advanced paint mist purification devices that use a variety of technologies such as filtration, adsorption, and electrostatic separation to effectively collect and treat paint mist, reducing environmental pollution. In addition, the entire painting line is also equipped with multiple safety protection measures, such as emergency braking devices, fire and explosion prevention facilities, and leakage protection systems, to comprehensively ensure the safety of operators and equipment.
